Studio 26 Architects Ltd has morphed from its establishment in 2014. It includes Registered Architects Gary Pidd and a young talented team able to provide a wide variety of innovative designs with excellent documentation. We have a strong connection to Hawke’s Bay, and extensive experience in Gisborne and the east coast. We are able to draw on longstanding relationships with high quality contractors and consultants to meet the challenges of a wide range of projects. With a combined background in residential, commercial, cultural and education projects we are used to working with large client groups as well as individual home owners.

Studio 26 are looking for a new staff member. We are after an Architectural Technician with approximately 2 to 5 years experience. Preferably in Archicad. We have a stress free office with excellent working conditions with work life balance a priority. We have a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, health and community.

Few developments on the horizon. Below is a small housing development in Hastings. Our big road block at present is resource consents. Just about everything these days needs a resource consent. Council requirements a getting to be absurd. I.e they want planting nominated to be "in perpetuity" that means forever. I did ask and they understood the meaning, just not the imposibility of it.
