Friday saw our spreading trailer come into its own, handling three oversized loads to Hawke’s Bay Regional Prison for Patton Engineering. 🚛

With the ability to spread out to 3.5 metres wide, it’s ideal for transporting those bigger, trickier loads.

Got something oversized or out of the ordinary to move? Give us a call!

Full-on day today! 🚧

The team headed down State Highway 5 to take care of a wee job.

Our Grove GMK3055 was on the job, along with the Kenworth T904 and trailer spread to 3 metres for safe and easy loading, while our trusty crane truck brought up the rear with all the rigging.

Cheers to Zeb for keeping things under control back in town! 👊

🚨 NEW TO HAWKE'S BAY! 🚨

Hodson Crane Hire Ltd, in partnership with Lattey Group, is pleased to announce the arrival of our Knapp Roofing Iron Spreader Bar, extending from 12 to 20 metres.

📍 Whether your project is in Napier, Hastings, or anywhere across Hawke's Bay, we've got you covered.

The team has been keeping busy lately, and last week we completed a 28-tonne transformer lift within a live substation.

The project involved relocating the transformer to a new position before safely reinstating it. Thanks to careful planning, the right equipment, and an experienced crew, the lift was completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.

It's another great example of how the right preparation and the right team make all the difference.

A big thanks to everyone involved for another successful job! 👏
