This may bring some joy to those who have lost so much. 🥰

If you or anyone you know has sentimental photographs damaged by the cyclone/floods, please don’t throw them away. Old prints can sometimes be restored (even better than more recent prints in some cases).
In the coming months, Fujifilm X Series NZ will be setting up stations so you can bring in your old photographs and they will assess them & restore the ones they can for free.
For now, please keep hold of them.

We’re safe and dry here in Napier, but without power for what looks like quite sometime. Connectivity seems to have improved, but we are conscious of conserving battery so this may be our only post for a while. Our hearts break for all those who’ve lost everything. This has been a devastating event for many of our friends, colleagues and clients in the region. Our thoughts and hearts are with you. Thank you ❤️ HB Civil Defense, NZ Defense Force, our first responders, and RNZ.
