This week has been another steady one here at Stim, with a continued focus on building up stock levels across some of our core product lines. It might sound a little mundane, but consistently making and replenishing stock is an approach that has worked well for us over the years and helps ensure we're ready when orders come in.

It may not be glamorous or exciting, but we're big believers in consistency. If it isn't broken and it's working, why change it?

We've also spent time meeting with a number of repeat clients to discuss some exciting larger custom projects. We always appreciate the opportunity to work with returning customers and help bring new ideas to life.

Meanwhile, Paul has been busy making himself a new router lift for the workshop. Why, you might ask? Because apparently the quickest way to get one was to build it himself. 😄

In all seriousness, it's another one of those workshop improvements that helps make the job easier, more accurate, and a little more efficient.

In other exciting news, Sharon's Matariki project is almost ready! We'll be launching it this Sunday, so keep an eye on our page—we can't wait to share what she's been working on. 🌙✨

Alongside all of that, it's been business as usual with the day-to-day workshop jobs, admin, planning upcoming events, and everything else that happens behind the scenes to keep things moving.

As always, thank you for supporting local craftsmanship and choosing NZ-made.

If you'd like to see what we've been working on, browse our latest products, or learn more about what we do, visit us at stim.co.nz.

End of week wrap-up from the workshop 🪵✨

This week has continued to be focused on restocking a number of our standard pieces, while also putting time into improving our workshop layout and creating a smoother production flow through the space. It’s always worth making those small behind-the-scenes changes that help everything run a little better day to day.

Winter tends to be a little quieter for us, which gives us a great opportunity to catch up on the things we’ve been meaning to get done but haven’t had time for during the busier months—reorganising, refining systems, and making the most of the seasonal shift.

Alongside the regular office/admin jobs happening in the background, we’ve also been adding more products to the website—so keep an eye on stim.co.nz over the coming weeks.

And Sharon has been busy working away on a special Matariki-inspired project that’s nearly ready to reveal… and we’re pretty excited to share that with you soon 🌙✨

Thanks as always for supporting local and backing handmade here in Hawke’s Bay.

Wishing everyone a great long weekend for King's Birthday 👑👑
Hope there’s a chance for a slow coffee, a sleep-in, or a bit of time doing what you enjoy.

We’ll be putting the tools down for the long weekend and taking a little time to recharge before another busy week ahead. Hope everyone enjoys the extra day and gets a chance to slow down for a bit .
