When clients keep coming back 👏🏽 Loan Market, who we have done work for before, wanted some creative wall art. Together we came up with a style and colour, drew it up and sent it to Christchurch to get cut. For this we used 19mm joinery ply with a black ve**re and finally sprayed NZ gold and the UK red, as our client is from England. AirBnb Renovation on Watts Road, Fernhill 🏡 The customer had come across a previous Character Building project and also wanted his studio apartment renovated into an AirBnb with the same vibe, giving us full control over the design process right down to the choice of colors… 🎨 Due to the small size of the apartment, we had to utilize the space in the best way possible; this was achieved by custom-making a fold-away Murphy bed with an attached dining-area, a colorful staircase and handrail made into a bookshelf/storage unit while still serving its purpose as a staircase. This was complemented by a colorful and rustic looking corner-kitchen made from pallets that had dried out for 4 months then sanded and treated. The upstairs sleeping area was spiced up with a feature wall, something so simple as using ply can add a lot of character, in addition to the same color-range as downstairs giving the AirBnb a common uniqueness. ❤ We love when we get to be creative and appreciate the trust from our clients. The process itself is satisfying but happy clients are the most satisfying. We will always deliver custom-made joinery with character. •

We repurposed these Purple Heart 💜 sleepers into two long tables with matching benches for in town ☕️ With a lot of love and staining we got the true beauty out of this wood - SWIPE TO SEE BEFORE AND AFTER - how incredible is this wood? 🌳 The whole building process is to be found in our highlights “Exchange Cafe”. •

Flower beds provide a perfect solution to utilise dead space in front of many shops.. Recently, we helped in Queenstown to create a welcoming entrance with a natural and characteristic atmosphere for both clients and staff. 🌸🍃👫
The railway sleepers used are 90 years old and from a power station on the north island, giving them a rustic feel and charming look to match the flowers. Cut and assembled to fit the outdoor area, always done uniquely and with creativity in mind. 📐⚒🎞

Burning the Macrocarpa 🔥 😎

A very unique dining table handcrafted from macrocarpa tree, treated with several stains (including a coffee mixture ☕️) and burnings to bring out the darkness and rustic personality of the wood. 🌳

The client wanted the table to provide a worn effect and we think we nailed that one pretty well 🔨😉🎞
