A project with a great story behind it 🔨🎣

We were proud to donate our time and skills to create these custom bar leaners for the Wairarapa Sports Fishing Club’s new extended clubrooms at Castlepoint.

Using old wool presses generously donated by the Patrick family, we sourced local macrocarpa slabs and shaped each top to fit the presses perfectly. Central ITM then CNC-routered the club’s logo and the names of those involved, which were filled with black resin before sanding everything back and finishing the tops with polyurethane.

We then fitted the finished tops back onto the presses and delivered them to their new home at the clubrooms.

A great collaboration between local businesses, families and the community — and something we’re proud to have been involved in. 🍻🎣

We wrapped up this classroom block about 1.5 years ago! Plenty of hard yakka, coffee and probably a few too many early mornings went into this one.

Good job, boys! 👊

What do you reckon, would you rather be building this or sitting in the classroom?

🐾Quality control of smoko breaks

🐶Client meet and greets

👷‍♀️Supervising from a safe and comfortable distance

We're still working on a few areas including punctuality & toilet training but we're confident she'll become a valuable member of the team.
