Did your security system adjust to daylight savings?

With the clocks moving forward yesterday, it's worth checking that your security systems are displaying the correct time. Not all systems update automatically, which can lead to a few issues:
🔒 Automatic doors locking or unlocking at the wrong time
📹 CCTV footage displaying incorrect timestamps
🚨 Scheduled alarms arming or disarming an hour out
💡 Timed security lighting activating at the wrong time

A quick check is particularly worthwhile for commercial sites relying on automated security systems.

School holidays are nearly here, and with the family spending more time at home, it's a good opportunity to check that your residential security is working as it should.

Take some time to test your CCTV, alarms and monitoring systems, especially with daylight saving beginning this Sunday.

A little maintenance goes a long way towards keeping your home and family safe.

Can you install CCTV yourself?

Sometimes, you can. If you’re confident with tools, wiring, placement and setup, a DIY system may be enough for simple spaces. But for homes and business sites where precision is not an option, professional installation will save time, stress and guesswork. In that case, you would reach out to us.
