When we're not teaching others, we're teaching ourselves. Over the last couple of days, our team has been deep-diving into everything ropes. With the change of season, we take the opportunity to refresh and teach some new skills to some of the new team. Great to see everyone coming together for some all-round learning.

After a busy week and a long stretch of perfect weather, Pablo and Chris have returned with some amazing photos. Our 5-day Mountain Experience Course has been an epic experience for our 8 students. This last week has seen them camping out, climbing up, and rappelling down the Ben Ohau Range, all whilst learning the skills to go further. Great pics, team!

It's a busy week for us. With courses, trips and adventures happening all over the motu. Here are a few snaps from the last few days of great mountain weather. Our trips are running in Aspiring, Aoraki and the Ben Ohau mountains. Way to go, team!

Summer has started with a bang here at Alpine Guides. Actually, it was a dig. Our first trip of the season was greeted with Colin Todd Hut buried in snow. Jamie and Nicole had to dig out the door before giving mighty Mount Aspiring a nudge. Tititea had good snow cover early this week, with weather and conditions being ideal for a summit attempt. Great photos, Jamie and well done Nicole!

Did you know that not only do we guide, but we also ski? Our Team at Alpine Guides also love the pow! We're pretty happy to see the brand new Ho**er Bridge reopen today. We've missed the views from Ho**er Lake, and we're really looking forward to getting up the Ho**er Valley for adventures like Sefton Biv, The Footstool and our favourite alpine climb, the Mount Wakefield Guideless Buttress.

Tai and John have been tearing it up on Ski The Tasman this week. With snow conditions being fantastic over the last few days, they're only going to get better with more snow in the forecast!
