Not the best reason to be in the shed today but it is pretty rough outside !
One snapped hydraulic rocker shaft resulting in a dismounted postdriver and some serious damage.

Nothing like a bit of 75mm spaced barb for boundaries. No cuts in hands luckily !

Onto the next property 600m boundary 7 wire fencing , barb and intermediate lines.

Back from an excellent few days away in Nelson at the FCANZ - Fencing Contractors New Zealand conference. Great to meet up with contractors from all round the country , share ideas , best practice day , innovations and celebrate the up coming talent coming through and project excellence. Also a look at the French pass , the hops industry and abouts. Next year we are the Hawksbay region to do it all again !

Bit of load testing strainer assemblies today at the fcanz best practice day. Interesting to see what held up under pressure the best. Very different ground conditions in this part of the island !

More tree line perimeters in Gore ( seems to be a thing for me recently 😅) luckily the weather is holding so hopefully through this 900m worth and to the next , truly buoyant out there , looking forward to a little break next week to Nelson for the FCANZ - Fencing Contractors New Zealand conference, missed out last year due to trying to complete work but will definitely be there this year .

A full weekend of work to sort out a couple of damaged fences from the Barry Robinson Memorial Rally Southland . Rabbit fencing and net wire on another.
Farmers are very happy , no doubt the rally will get to use the roads again ! Thanks Nigel King for helping me out !
