Just finished re-building and re-plastering the weather damaged areas on this art-deco style house in Lawrence built in 1876 and renovated in 1942.

Now finished the external restoration of The Old Sod Cottage, Lovells Flat near Balclutha. Internal work was completed last year. All using Non-Hydraulic Lime Putty based plasters.

Finished the final coat of Non-Hydraulic Lime Putty based render on The Old Sod Cottage today. Hydration and tending the walls now ,ready for limewashing.

Applying the base coat of Non-Hydraulic Lime Putty based plaster to this old cob block building at Lovells Flat after removing the modern non-breathing paint applied in 1969.
The next phase is to fill out the hollows that were filled with sand and cement. Then, to apply the final coats.

Assessing McNulty House in the Heritage Precinct, Cromwell, for water damage and ingress of hygroscopic salts.
Removal of the internal timber paneling.
Removel of the sand and cement plaster to the dado rail height and re- plastering using Non-Hydraulic Lime based plasters.

Back at Tiptree Cottage Museum in Christchurch NZ. Maintenance work on this category 1 heritage cob building that we restored several years ago after the Christchurch earthquake. Patch repair internally where new floors were laid and another few coats of limewash.

Just finished re-laying these old blown tiles. 147 of them. Had to repair 17 broken tiles as I couldn't find them anywhere. All the tile shops said they are old stock and not made now.
