JJ Limited is 68 years old today!!! Thanks to all of our customers for their continued support, and to all of our wonderful staff that have made this business what it is today.

BIG NEWS IN ASHBURTON!

JJ Limited is excited to introduce Andrew Johnson as the new manager of our Ashburton branch.

Andrew is an experienced leader in the agricultural tractor and machinery sector, recognised for his strong customer focus and practical approach. He was originally born in Canterbury before his family took them North to go dairy farming.

Andrew has spent some of his working life in the UK, before returning to North Island, and now residing in Canterbury with his family, and has been involved in a some very diverse roles. He’s spent time in tractor & machinery dealerships, as well as on the wholesale side, most recently as a NZ Wholegoods Commercial Manager for AGCO our supplier of MF and Fendt.

With a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the agricultural industry, Andrew focuses on building lasting client relationships, driving business growth, and maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.

Outside of work, he is an active individual who enjoys outdoor pursuits, including hunting, fishing, and off-road motorcycling. He is excited to be joining the JJ’s team and to get out and meet all the clients in the area.

Happy Massey Monday! Check out this video from Wanaka Agricultural Contracting and our JJ Cromwell team enjoying the warmer Autumn weather a few weeks ago, cultivating with the big Massey Ferguson 9S.400. The manoeuvrability, visibility and roominess within the cab, plus the smooth transmission got mentioned among the many comments.

Big News in Gore!

We are excited to announce Danie van den Heever as our new Gore Branch Manager.

Danie started with JJ’s in 2020 as the service manager of our Gore branch, before moving into a sales role. He brings an extensive history in the agricultural industry, having worked in America and England driving combines before going on to work as a Product Specialist and Regional Sales Manager for an AGCO wholesale distributor.

With a wealth of knowledge and practical experience, Danie understands the importance of the right solutions for his clients, and we’re excited to see him step into this leadership role.

Danie is taking over from Geoff Sadlier, who has managed the Gore branch since 1990 when his father Eoin retired. After 44 years with JJ Limited (and counting!), Geoff will continue with the business in a sales role across the wider Southland region. He’s looking forward to getting to spend more time doing what he enjoys most in his final years of work: working closely with customers and the industry he knows so well.

This transition has been part of our long-term succession planning, and with both Danie and Geoff working closely together, we’re confident it will provide a smooth handover and continued great service for our valued clients.
