We're building our 2027 calendar from your best shots, and we want to see real farms, real gear working right from across our JJ Limited community. 12 photos will be chosen, one for every month, and photo chosen will get a little something something from us.

We love seeing photos of customers with their new pride and joy!

Here we have Craig Wilson from MultiAg Ltd, Waimate, with his brand-new Massey Ferguson 8s305. This beast won't be sitting still for long as the team gears up for the busy season ahead.

Meanwhile, the Muir family, not far from our Gore branch, have wasted no time putting their Massey Ferguson 6s145 straight to work on the farm.

Bit of a trip down memory lane this .

JJ Ltd first started selling Fendt back in the late 80's, after the local Gore dealer closed its doors. What began as just supplying parts for one local client quickly grew and by the early 90's we were distributing Fendt across our network, Gore included.

Then in the late 90's, AGCO brought Fendt under the same roof as Massey Ferguson, and Fendt was sold even more widely from there.

Numbers-wise, back then, a Fendt 614 would set you back $65,000, that’s about $172,000 in today’s dollars. Compare that to a 616 today, and, well... let's just say it's a fair bit more than that!

Nothing like a bit of collegial rivalry within the team!

Celebrating the All Blacks tour of South Africa, the JJ LTD Gore branch downed tools, fired up the barbie and donned some representative colours to mark the halfway point of the tour.

And how was that game this morning? A slow start, but boy did the All Blacks claw it back.

And here’s one for all you vintage tractor and ploughing buffs out there.

Held at Oporo Flat over the weekend, the Central Southland Vintage Club ploughing match saw 15 competitors come out to tear up some dirt. Including the famous Lenny Balneaves!

As you can see, there was a good turn out of Massey Ferguson’s doing what they do best, as well as a ploughing team of the four-legged variety. Which we shall now dub as Massey and Ferguson.

All in all, it wasn’t a bad Southland Day catching the sunshine for this qualifying match for the New Zealand finals, all before the weather turned on Sunday where only 8 brave souls… ploughed on…. at the Thornbury match.

A happy it is, especially when the Massey Ferguson 7s are being dropped off all over the South Island.

Recently The Milne Family and Mr Stu Stokes both took delivery of the Massey Ferguson 7s, a unit that's fast becoming a staple for many farmers.

Popular as it bridges the gap between robust power, while still being agile, it handles heavy implements and general field work with great fuel efficiency. Despite its size, its remains nimble enough for tighter farm yards.
