If you could choose a place to build or renovate your dream home, which location would it be in?

We know winter is cold!
If you use a fire to heat your home, ensure you have well-functioning fire alarms that will work effectively in an emergency. The NZ Building Code now mandates hard-wired, interconnected smoke alarms in all new homes. This system ensures that if one alarm detects smoke, all alarms in the house sound simultaneously, giving your family more time to evacuate safely. If your home still has old battery-operated alarms, upgrading is one of the simplest ways to enhance safety.

Did you know?
The NZ Building Code requires every home to be built so moisture can’t sneak into the structure.
That’s why things like correct roof underlay, flashing, and ventilation aren’t optional — they’re part of keeping your home safe, dry, and mould‑free.

If your place is showing signs of moisture or condensation this winter, we can help you figure out what’s going on.
Send us a message; we'd love to help!
