✨️ And just like that it's almost the end of March already. I've been incredibly busy - what I've been working on lately:

🛠 Just finished a new Colorsteel fence & driveway gate at a home in Flaxmere
🛠 Some concrete nibs for a house in Havelock North
🛠 Work on a two storey house in Napier that was going on the market - rot repair, repairing some watertight issues & some regibbing on the interior
🛠 Repairs on a rental property in Flaxmere & a few other smaller jobs

✨️I've been added to the Cabjaks 'recommended installers' for Hawkes Bay✨️

Cabjaks Manufacturing produce kitchen & laundry cabinets, benchtops, & wardrobes. They are good quality, reasonably priced & come ready to install so there's minimal labour involved.

✨️It's nearly the end of January & we're back into the full swing of things here at THRED. January has seen a mix of different jobs - modernising a laundry room in Marewa, some interior gibbing at a house in Pakowhai, & a few smaller jobs around Hastings, including some maintenance at a few rental properties.

👷‍♂️🛠The photos below were from a job I completed in December at a unit in Westshore - I removed the existing older deck & replaced with a new pine deck & steps. I also built a custom storage seat to fit in next to the bay window.

✨️Life can be tough & we'd like to do a little something to help brighten someone's day ...

💞 There are a lot of people struggling out there & we think it's important for people to know there are always people who care & want to help. ✨️It's been a busy week here at THRED Maintenance - we're currently working on a bathroom & laundry renovation in Greenmeadows. While waiting on the plumber & plasterer to do their part, I've had a day out in Waimarama installing an outdoor handrail at a marae & a day in Havelock North starting on a job to make some changes to outdoor timber steps.

⬇️Yesterday I was at a rental property in Hastings creating a lockable box for the gas bottles on the exterior of the house (see photos below). I've attached a wheel to it for ease of opening & closing.

✨️I posted a few months ago about the study nook we'd created within the master wardrobe of 18A Williams Street. The wardrobe components & custom bench top (in 'Kiwi Oak' colour) in the study nook are from Cabjaks Manufacturing.

🎨The interior walls of the home are painted in Resene 'Concrete'. The customer really wanted to add some personality, creativeness & point of differences in the house. They ended up repainting the walls behind the benchtop in Resene 'Nocturnal'. It looks awesome, it creates some drama, defines the space from the rest of the wardrobe, & really makes the custom benchtop, shelving & decor pop.
