🎉⚡ LOOK WHO'S TURNED 5! ⚡🎉

No, not his age... although some days we're not entirely convinced. 😆

Today we're celebrating TJ's 5 years with Harkness Electrical!

Over the last five years, TJ has become one of the most reliable circuits in the business.

He's always switched on, rarely trips, and somehow manages to keep running all day with nothing more than a pie, a V, and whatever food happens to be within a 50-metre radius. 🍔🌭🥧🍕🍗

In fact, if it can be eaten, TJ has probably already eaten it.

Morning tea? Gone.

Shared lunch? Gone.

Your lunch that was clearly labelled with your name? Potentially at risk. 😅

When he's not conducting unofficial food inspections, TJ is out there helping power homes and businesses across Hawke's Bay, bringing a great attitude, solid workmanship, and plenty of laughs along the way.

Five years, countless jobs completed, thousands of metres of cable pulled, and approximately several tonnes of food consumed later, TJ remains a valued member of the Harkness team.

🎳⚡ Striking the Right Balance! ⚡🎳

At Harkness Electrical, we know that a strong team is built on more than just hard work. That's why we make time to step away from the job site, have some fun, and enjoy a few laughs together.

This time, we headed down to the Superstrike Tenpin Bowling to test our skills. From spinning strikes and tabletop sports challenges to trying our best to look cool while doing it, there was plenty of friendly competition and team spirit on display!

These moments help us connect outside of work, strengthen our team culture, and remind us that finding the right balance between work and play is important.

⚡ 10 Years of Chris ⚡

Today marks 10 years of Chris at Harkness Electrical.

Over the past decade Chris has:

- Solved countless electrical problems.
- Completed hundreds of jobs.
- Consumed a substantial amount of caffine.
- And spoken approximately 14 more words than absolutely necessary.

Chris isn't one for making a fuss, which is unfortunate because we're making one anyway.

For 10 years he's been the calm voice on site, the steady pair of hands on the tools, and the guy who can usually find a fault in minutes after everyone else has spent an hour looking in the wrong place.

If you've worked with Chris, you'll know his sense of humour isn't always obvious. Sometimes you'll only realise he was joking a few hours later.

We're incredibly grateful for his loyalty, professionalism, and the high standard of work he brings to every job.
