We talk about supporting local a lot, but what does it actually mean?
Sure, it means working with local plumbers, flooring suppliers, tradespeople and contractors. But for us, it’s also about investing in people who live here, work here, and give back to our community.
Our team are the people you’ll see around town, volunteering with community groups and cheering on the sidelines at the weekend. From our builders out on site right across the Peninsula to our office team helping clients through everything from building consents to colour selections, everyone plays a part in creating a great experience for our clients.
Meet Rebecca Walker, who recently joined the Urban Homes Thames Coromandel team as our Client Experience Manager. From day one, Rebecca has embraced the role with enthusiasm and helps support Dan and Tanya throughout the build journey. Whether it's answering questions, keeping clients informed, or making sure the little details don't get missed, Rebecca genuinely cares about creating a positive experience for everyone involved. She's also a fully qualified firefighter with the Whitianga Volunteer Fire Brigade. So when the siren sounds, it's not unusual to see both Dan and Rebecca heading out the door in a hurry to help our community when it's needed most.
It's a great reminder that the people behind Urban Homes aren't just building homes here, they're helping build a stronger community too.
