Long overdue Update! 📖

It has been a fast start to the year hence the long time between posts 🏃‍♂️
We have done busy in Lockerbie Village/ Estate building away in the subdivision here, whilst also fitting in the our town jobs in and around these builds 🏡
The clients have moved in out at the monster build in Sunridge park and will hopefully have a video tour of the house in the coming weeks. The Builds in the subdivision are cranking along and keep us busy the majority of the time! 🔨

But there is always room/time to accommodate other renovations or additions, decks, fences, bathrooms etc, we also work closely with sub contractors to make things happen for our clients aswell ( painters, plumbers, electricians, etc)

Sunridge update 🔨

We have been busy the last few months getting this house closed in for the summer break. Joinery has gone in, cladding has gone up and almost done, the house has been gibbed also. A lot of unseen labour has gone into it but the results have been rewarding from the paraphet front entry, to the internal corner slider that opens up the entire corner of the living room, dining room joinery with gib kits and so on! Coming together nicely and can wait to see the end product early next year 🏠

3 weeks in, we have Frames up 🖼️ Steel installed, Roof Ready 🛖Building Wrapped🌯

This house has thrown us curve balls and we haven’t even gotten inside yet, but with steel beams/portals you can expect that!

We should have shelter by the end of next week with a sleek Tile roof being installed, running into a cantilevered Parapet Front entry roof with an internal gutter, Joinery arriving in a couple of weeks and then into one of the Rewarding parts which is the cladding!

Ticking away nicely with more updates to come once we commence cladding 🤙🏽

⭐️ Sunridge update 🏠

Check out these foundation photos on our contract build in Sunridge! This thing is a sight for sore eyes! 👀 330sqm, 70% polished concrete, entire timber cladding, huge open plan dining/family/kitchen area with 8 steel beams running through out the build!

There is alot going on but this is a build where attention to detail is key for the clients which we pride ourselves on.

The latest in Lockerbie Village 🏠

We have been flat tack since the start of the year. It’s been a challenge bouncing between our different builds at different stages but with the help of the PM’s it has gone smoothly so far

Check out some of the photos I’ve taken 📸 along the way(when I remembered) of different sites and builds. From Frames to Roof, Cavity system to Cladding 🪟 and then a few near complete photos of builds we started in January ☀️

Awesome client alert 🚨

Early this year we had the privilege of working along side an old friend Ray and his partner Jenna who made the move back to the Waikato. Why I say work alongside, is because they were not afraid of getting there hands dirty or itchy and getting stuck into some mahi 🔨 This drastically reducing our labour onsite as it was a very busy period, but also saving themselves some much valued dosh 💴

The works here included
- A kitchen revamp with an internal wall removal to open up the area, building a wing wall to accommodate the fridge, gib patching and plastering, a full pantry/storage nook built
- New attic ladder installed in Garage 🪜
- 4 pieces of new Joinery switched out 🪟
- Various cladding pieces around the house
- Bathroom strip out and new tiled shower installed 🚿

Projects like these are made so much easier with the help and understanding of our clients, saving themselves money and time, by getting themselves dirty, organising various things to help the project keep progressing, something tells me that the rest of the house will follow suit once the time is right

🌟 Long time between posts as per usual…🥹

Some progress photos of Builds 1 and 2, these are probably a little dated as more has happened since then which I’ll update when I can 🔨

3rd Build has kicked off and already has roof on 🛖
Been slack on photos of this also as it’s been a busy period ⏰

We have managed to get a bit of work done outside of Lockerbie aswell which has kept us on our toes, we have very patient clients which helps us out a lot!

Ronin Stephenson 💫

Thought it might be time to introduce my right hand man Ronin. Ronin in his spare time plays alot of Golf and Rugby and enjoys a few brews with his mates.Ronin actually started working with me last January so he has been around for the best part of a year. It was agreed that it’d be a trial period as he had an O.E trip booked in April for a couple months to see if it worked for both of us. From the time he got back we have hit the ground running and have thankfully had lots of work on. Ronin brings a good attitude (most days 😅) hard work ethic and dedication, and is invested in the projects we set out to complete. As always no one is perfect and you have your off days but don’t we all, he is a qualified and competent builder who can be left alone if needed and it’s where I have personally found a lot of benefit from. There is still a lot of improvement and feeling out to do in different aspects of having an employee, but personally it’s been a pleasure having him onboard for the last year and he says the same thing in return so hopefully we can help you guys out one day on your projects and you can meet him in person if you haven’t yet 🔨
