We are looking for an electrician to join our busy team here on New Zealands Best Coast. You need to be NZ REGISTERED or close to it. You will become part of a great team that works hard but has great fun whilst doing so. Aotea Electric Westland are the largest provider in this profession on the West Coast and we do it all. There is never a dull day. All the normal stuff like phone, uniform and modern work vehicle supplied. Caught up with Natasha Metcalf from Aotea Electric at the new Library build. Natasha started her electrical apprenticeship in May 2023 with the support of our Mayors Taskforce for Jobs initiative and is well on her way now in 2026 to becoming qualified. I have seen Natasha on various work sites over this time and she is always happy, positive and loving her role. Its great to see our local young people working on the Library site and other construction jobs across many trades. Well done Natasha I bet your learning heaps on this project.
