HOT OFF THE PRESS - We've just had some fabulous feedback from one of our valued customers regarding their new Panasonic CO2 Hot Water Heat pump.
"Kia ora team, we finally got a “proper” power bill since we put in solar & heatpump hot water. Wow, what a difference!
Both bills compared were for 30 days. The one prior to the new cylinder and solar used $179 of grid electricity, excluding charges.
The next one was also 30 days, it used $42 of grid electricity excluding charges.
That was a decrease of over 75% in cost!
They also commented on how super quiet the system was.

Time to re-visit some of Pauls Pearls of Wisdom - have you ever wondered whether you can heat your whole house with a Heat pump?

Single-split Heat pumps are the most common type of heat pump in New Zealand. These consist of a single outdoor unit (the compressor) connected to an indoor unit via a system of pipes. They’re designed to heat one room (or zone), not your whole home, and you may require multiple units if you have more than one living area, or multiple areas that you want to heat. If you are wanting to heat your whole home you might like to consider a ducted system or a series of single-split Heat pumps.
