A few great shots of a recent SmartShelters project that the GHI Construction team was pleased to assist with!

Photos supplied.

The team spent yesterday doing EWP refresher training with Ross from Roadtrain - a good opportunity to refresh their knowledge, practical skills and safe operation across a range of equipment.

Thanks to AdvanceQuip Gore for having us at their yard for the training.

Pretty stoked with this one! 🏆

GHI Construction has achieved SiteWise Gold for 2026/27, with a score of 94%.

Great to see the work that goes on behind the scenes reflected in such a strong result. 👏

Keeping it real on the GHI page today 😂
Not every day on site goes exactly to plan… sometimes you’re just this close 🤏

The Ranch – Part 5 | Getting Closer 🤎

It’s been a while since we’ve shared much of what’s been happening here. We had every intention of taking you along for the ride, but the last few months have been pretty full-on and somehow the updates got away on us!

There has been plenty happening though — most of the interior painting is complete, the joinery is in, the laminate flooring is down, the plumbing fit-off is nearly finished, most of the electrical is sorted, the fire is installed and the carpet has just been laid. Tiling should hopefully be finished soon, with some of the soft furnishings starting to go up too.

There have been a few delays along the way, but that’s all part of renovating, and we’ve been very lucky to have some amazing tradespeople helping us get to this point.

We’re finally starting to feel like we’re getting close, so here are a couple of little glimpses for now… hopefully there’ll be a few finished spaces to share soon 🏡🤎

A little behind-the-scenes look at what’s been happening in the workshop lately 🔨

We built the frames for this outbuilding here in the workshop before transporting them out to site, where it’ll all be put together and finished off.

We’ll show you how it turns out once it’s complete!

We had to jump on the 80s bandwagon… 😂📼

This was just too good not to share! 🤣

Not a bad office for the day! 🏔️

Michael and Cody were up in Queenstown this week completing this shelter install — with a pretty spectacular backdrop to work with ❤️

Something a little different for the GHI team recently 👷‍♂️

The boys were up in the air installing the new signage for Advancequip Gore/Earthworm Attachments.

A change from our usual building work, but a pretty satisfying one to see come together — and you certainly can’t miss it now!

Always good to work alongside another local business. 🙌
