**Day light saving!**

The clocks are going forward an hour, which means summer is just around the corner! ☀️

It’s also a great time to test your smoke alarms throughout your home and make sure they’re working properly. It could be the perfect time to consider upgrading to a new long-life, interconnecting smoke alarm system.

Aotea can help keep your home protected by supplying, programming and installing the latest smoke alarm system that meet the current NZS 4514:2021 standard.

This Saturday, our local heros are firing up the BBQ!

It’s a great chance to grab a bite and show our local firefighters how much we appreciate everything they do to keep our community safe.

Come and join us this Saturday from 9am outside our fire station. We will be running till after the parade!

Always good to see a job ticked off the list!

It was a pleasure helping out with some new lights in the interior grooming bay — making the space a little brighter and easier to work in!

Thanks for choosing Aotea Electric Cromwell, and supporting our team!

Busy weekend for the Aotea Electric crew!

We kicked things off bright and early with a few of the team lending a hand at the Light Up Winter event. It's always a privilege to support such an awesome community event and do our bit.

Then it was time for our mid-year Social Club outing, with a road trip down to mighty Invercargill for a night of rugby, plenty of banter, and catching up outside of work. There may have been a bit of friendly rivalry, but it was all part of a great night.

A few laughs, and for some, a few sore heads the next morning... all in all, a fantastic weekend!

Not long to go now! See you all on Saturday

💡 Is Your Business Still Using Fluorescent Tube Lighting? 💡

The writing is on the wall for fluorescent tubes.
Under the Minamata Convention on Mercury, countries around the world are phasing out many mercury-containing lighting products. As a result, fluorescent tubes are gradually disappearing from the market, with supplies becoming harder to source, prices increasing, and fewer options available each year.

If your business still relies on fluorescent lighting, now is the ideal time to plan an upgrade before replacement lamps become difficult, or impossible to obtain.

Why switch to LED?
✅ Lower power consumption and reduced electricity costs
✅ Brighter, cleaner, flicker-free lighting
✅ Longer lifespan with significantly less maintenance
✅ No mercury content
✅ Reliable, future-proof lighting technology

Whether you operate an office, warehouse, workshop, retail store, school, or commercial premises, Aotea Electric can assess your existing lighting and provide a cost-effective LED upgrade solution tailored to your needs.
Don't wait until a failed fluorescent fitting leaves you searching for replacement tubes that are no longer readily available.

Contact us today on 03 445 1374 to arrange a no-obligation lighting assessment and quote. We'll help you make the switch to efficient, reliable LED lighting and future-proof your premises.
