Nic draws inspiration from a variety of materials, such as American Ash, Oak, Walnut, and Maple, alongside modern options like bamboo and laminates. This diverse selection allows for the creation of one-off, distinctive pieces that carry a unique character. With nearly two decades of experience, Nic's journey in woodworking began with a trade in French Polishing and has expanded to encompass painting and decorating, house renovations, furniture making, and campervan conversions. His education at Ara in Christchurch, where he studied joinery and furniture making for almost four years, has further solidified his skills. Having operated successfully for six years, Harvey Woodcraft has honed its process to ensure high-end results that align with client expectations.
