For anyone who knows me, you'll know I'm not exactly a big social media poster. However, my arm keeps getting twisted by the people who tell me apparently you're supposed to post about your business... so here goes.
We're coming up on four months since starting Two Four Electrical, and it's fair to say it's been a bit of a roller coaster. Plenty of long days, a few sleepless nights, a lot of learning on the fly, but I've genuinely enjoyed every bit of it.
When I actually stop and think about what we've managed to achieve in four months, it's pretty crazy.
We've picked up some awesome residential, commercial and industrial clients, we're now working with clients and suppliers both here in NZ and internationally, and we've taken on a few jobs that at first glance probably fell into the "how the hell are we going to pull this off?" category. So far, we've managed to come out the other side!
But probably the biggest milestone for me personally has been taking on our first electrical apprentice. Starting out on my own was one thing. Getting to the point where we can give someone else an opportunity to learn the trade and become part of what we're building is pretty bloody cool.
Anyway, this isn't really meant to be a sales post. More of an appreciation post since I don't do them very often.
A massive thanks to everyone who has backed Two Four so far. Our residential and commercial customers, industrial clients, contractors, suppliers, other businesses that have given us a chance, and our clients and suppliers overseas.
There are also plenty of people behind the scenes who have answered phone calls, offered advice, passed our name on, given us an opportunity or simply told someone, "give Two Four a call." That stuff makes a bigger difference to a new business than people probably realise.
Four months down. Still plenty to learn and a hell of a lot more we want to achieve.
Thanks for backing us.
Now I've done my social media post, hopefully that gets the advertisers off my back for another four months 😂
