CLARKVILLE | A NEW PROJECT BEGINS

We’re pleased to have commenced work on a new renovation in Clarkville.

The demolition stage is coming to an end, with structural works now well underway as we begin bringing the new design to life.

The existing home is being carefully transformed, with the new layout and structural changes starting to take shape.

We’ll be sharing the progress as this project develops — from the early stages through to the finished home.

Total Transformation in Ohoka!

This incredible full-house renovation was completed earlier this year, and the result is absolutely stunning.
Working alongside the talented team at .nz, this property was taken to a whole new level with two structural extensions and a complete high-end interior overhaul.
The scope of this project was significant. Two small extensions were built—one to add an elegant, beautifully crafted powder room and another to open up and add more space to the second living area. The home now features sleek new aluminium windows and a full interior and exterior repaint.
At the heart of the house sits a stunning new custom kitchen complete with a functional scullery. Three brand-new luxury bathrooms were also added, with fresh flooring laid throughout the entire footprint to tie every single room together seamlessly.
From the architectural vision to the final coat of paint, every detail was crafted to deliver a modern, beautiful family lifestyle. Looking back at this build a huge thank you goes out to our incredible onsite team and the fantastic trade partners whose hard work made this happen.
Projects like this are only possible with great clients, and these homeowners were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish.
Thank you so much to them and to the team at .nz for such a fantastic collaboration. Now that they have been settled in for a few months, we truly hope they are loving every minute of it and thoroughly enjoying life in their beautiful new family home!

One of the more memorable projects I’ve had the privilege of managing.

This heritage home extension was built on a narrow site, presenting plenty of challenges that required careful planning and coordination throughout the project. The original brick walls were retained and complemented by board-formed concrete tilt panels, steel-framed windows, and a striking new extension. The project also included a swimming pool, adding another layer of complexity to the build.

A great example of how thoughtful planning, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail can bring together the character of an existing home with contemporary design.

A nice little project we recently completed.

We built and installed these custom Kwila side gates with steel frames, quality locks and hardware. A simple addition that provides secure access, plenty of privacy, and finishes the space off nicely.

Kwila is a great choice for gates, with a timeless look that’s built to last.

This project transformed an empty commercial space into a modern, welcoming hair salon tailored to the owner’s vision. We constructed new partition walls to create a functional layout, incorporated curved archways to add character, and installed new drainage for the hair wash basins.

Working closely with the owner throughout the project, we completed a wide range of building work to help bring their vision to life. It was a great collaborative process, and together we created a salon that is both practical for everyday use and welcoming for clients. The finished result is a space we’re proud to have been part of.

Wrapped up this shed in North Canterbury recently.

12.6m x 8m with 3 roller doors and a pedestrian door. Plenty of room for storage, vehicles and equipment.

A solid addition to the property and a great result for the owners .

A few more shots from our Burnside project.

This home was built using Passive House principles, with a focus on comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term performance.

The external walls were constructed using 140mm timber framing along with a 50mm service cavity, helping maintain the integrity of the airtight layer. Internally, the home was wrapped with Intello membrane and insulated throughout with Terra Lana wool insulation.

The end result is a warm, healthy, and highly efficient home that will perform exceptionally well for years to come.

We’re proud to have delivered a home that not only looks great but is built to a higher standard behind the walls as well.

Looking back on one of our previous projects at the framing stage of the build.

At this point we had the structural steel portal installed, allowing for the large open spaces within the home while keeping the structure strong and secure.

The build also featured 140mm external framing with Ecoply barrier, helping create a solid and efficient building envelope ready for the next stages to follow.

Always good looking back through projects and seeing them come together stage by stage.

Completed renovation for a great family in Burnside.

This project involved transforming an oversized bathroom into a much more functional layout, creating a new ensuite while utilising part of the existing space for a wardrobe. We also removed an existing wardrobe from the master bedroom to help open up and improve the overall flow of the space.

The new ensuite features a fully tiled shower, new vanity, and updated fixtures throughout, giving it a clean, modern finish.

To finish things off, the bathroom, bedroom, and connected living area were all freshly repainted, tying everything together and giving the home a refreshed new feel.

Really pleased with how this one came together and grateful to have been trusted with a quality renovation project.
