The brief was pretty simple, get the windows hard up to the soffit.

To make that happen, we raised the lintel by 120mm and opened things up to get the detail the clients were after. Finished off with vertical Abodo cladding, which adds a nice bit of contrast and texture to the final look.

Pretty happy with how this one came together.

A look back at one we wrapped up around the middle of last year.

This Ilam renovation was a big transformation. We added a new double garage, turned the old garage into extra living space, and completely reworked the layout to make the home flow a whole lot better.

The Accoya Grey timber cladding finishes it off nicely too. Pretty happy with how this one came together.

The fun part's seeing it finished. The hard part's everything before that.

Every great build starts with a plan... regardless of the weather.

This is our latest project in Kirwee, where we're creating a seamless extension to give this home the extra space it needs. With the site protected by a full shelter, work can continue efficiently while keeping the build on track, whatever the weather.

Follow along as we share the progress from start to finish.

A quick check-in from St Martins.

The yellow cedar's going on and the boys have been cracking into it. It's one of those materials that speaks for itself. Looking forward to standing back once it's all finished and seeing it come together.

Laser or string line? Truth is, we use both. Every tradie has their favourite tool. For me, the laser level is pretty high on the list.

That said, the old string line isn't going anywhere. Depending on the weather, the setup and what we're trying to achieve, they both earn their keep.

Sometimes the old-school way is still the right way.
