After a decade with Browntown Builders, Alex has finished up to start a new chapter!

Over the past ten years, he has been a dependable, hardworking and highly respected member of the team. He has played a huge part in the success of the business, leading countless projects and setting a high standard through his dedication, workmanship and commitment. No matter the challenge, he was always someone we could rely on.

While we're incredibly sad to see him go, we're also extremely grateful for everything he's contributed over the last 10 years and are all excited to see what comes next for him.

With the colder mornings and evenings officially here, here are a few simple ways to start warming your home 🏡

Curtains - Around 18% of heat can be lost through windows! So ensure curtains are open through the day for natural sunlight heat, and ensure you close them as soon as the sun drops ☀️

Rooms - Keep doors closed to unused rooms so you don’t waste any precious heat!

Insulation - Top up ceiling insulation, up to 30% of heat can rise and escape through the roof!

Of course, upgrades and renovations can make a huge difference to how your home holds heat long term, but these are simple tips to make that little bit of difference!
