At this week’s AHICE Global Hotel Industry Conference, Richard Dalman hosted a panel of leading industry executives to explore the trends shaping hotel architecture across Aotearoa.

The conversation explored the role architecture plays in balancing guest experience, commercial performance, operational requirements and a strong sense of place. It also considered how architects, developers and hotel operators can work together to create properties that are distinctive, enduring and responsive to their local context.

Richard Dalman and Marion Smart attended the Chroma Group function celebrating the opening of The Halligan Cocktail Bar & Lounge at Hotel Indigo Auckland, an IHG Hotel on Friday night.

Chroma were the building contractors for the bar and Dalman Architects were involved along with others in the architecture and interior design.

It was a great opportunity to recognise the collaboration and craftsmanship that brought the project to life. Well done team!
