LEADING HAND / SENIOR ROOFER ROLE

JRS Trades are looking for an experienced LongRun Residential Roofer to join our well established team.
We have a stable Workload, including, New Roofs, Re Roofs, Light Commercial, Architectural and Cladding.
THIS ROLE INCLUDES:
- Installing long-run metal roofing across residential and commercial projects
- Completing residential re-roofing and new-build roofing work
- Measuring and installing flashings
- Taking responsibility for smaller jobs and coordinating the crew when required
- Working closely and supporting our Foremen
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with JRS Trades’ health, safety and workmanship expectations
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
- 6+ years’ long-run roofing experience
- Takes pride in their workmanship
- Strong problem solving skills
- Able to supervise other staff members if / when required
- Strong communication skills with both staff and clients
-Full NZ driver’s licence
- Understands Health and Safety and can follow requirements
- Reliable and honest
* Tray experience is ideal but not a requirement.
* LBP / Qualified Roofer not required but welcomed
WHAT WE OFFER:
- $500 Signing bonus after 90 Day period is completed
- Competitive hourly rate
- Minimum of 35 hours per week, average 40-45 hours.
- Variety of work, we have a good mix of New / ReRoof residential, commercial and architectural work
- Opportunity to progress into a Foreman role
