The shelving throughout this St Albans home has been incorporated into the design of the space, creating a practical feature that feels like a natural extension of the interior. The timber detailing brings warmth and texture, while keeping the overall look cohesive.

A home designed around its coastal setting.
The architecture and outdoor living spaces make the most of the view. With natural materials and considered detailing carrying through to the exterior. A relaxed, Mediterranean-inspired feel brings the spaces together, creating a strong connection between the home and its surroundings.

Just had a meeting to view our client’s recently arrived stone from Turkey. Fabrication and installation of client selected and supplied stone is easy when dealing with the right people. Thanks Artisan Stone

Designed to make the most of the view.
The main living space at this Lake Benmore home will bring together cedar ceilings, a substantial stone fireplace and approximately 14 metres of sliding doors, opening the room out towards the lake.

Outside, tiled patios, large cedar beams and custom soffit detailing continue the connection between the interior and the landscape.
A space that will make the most of its incredible outlook across Lake Benmore.

Good storage should feel like it belongs.

Integrated into the surrounding design, these spaces keep everything in its place without taking away from the simplicity of the room.

Textured wallpaper, sculptural fixtures and layered finishes bring an unexpected softness to the space, balancing function with a strong sense of style.

There’s more to this joinery than meets the eye.

Behind the seamless timber finishes are cleverly concealed storage spaces, with dark joinery finished with soft-close drawers and the lighter cabinetry designed with push-to-open doors.

A clean finish on the outside, with plenty of thoughtful functionality built in behind it.

Stone is a defining feature of this Scarborough home.
The walls are finished in 40mm Te Kuiti limestone, with the stonemason spending around six months on site bringing the natural stonework together.
Working with solid stone brings its challenges, but it also gives the home a depth and texture that you simply can’t replicate with other materials.
A big part of what makes this house so distinctive.
