A hugely proud moment for our team! 👏

Congratulations to Sam Templeton on receiving the Mac McKenzie Trust Apprentice Award for Otago. Sam’s hard work and determination have truly shone through, and this recognition is so well deserved.

It’s even more special to see Sam follow in the footsteps of Aotea Central Otago Branch Manager Rory McLellan and Operations Manager Peter Brown, who have both received a Mac McKenzie Award.

Well done, Sam! 🌟

🏉 100 Games Strong – Congratulations Tom! 👏
As proud sponsors of the Ohoka Rugby Div 1 team, we’re thrilled to join the club in celebrating an incredible milestone — 100 games for our very own Tom Wedlake!
Tom, your dedication on the field is matched only by your commitment to your family, your community, and your work. Your outstanding work ethic truly reflects the kind of person you are, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have you as part of the Aotea Plumbing & Drainage team
Wishing you the very best for the weekend — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 💪🔵

This weekend another club legend joins the hundy club with stalwart Tom Wedlake pulling on the maroon jersey for the 100th time.

Tom has been a part of the club since he was young and played most of his junior rugby with the club. Now in his 7th year of senior rugby Tom has found himself not only as a leader on the park but also a leader off it - driving many things in behind the scenes for the side and the club.

His effort on the field can never be questioned punching well above his weight and often playing through injury and pain where others may have chosen to sit out, he does it for the crest he loves. Tom exemplifies a team first attitude and uncompromising commitment to his teammates and club.

The road to 100 games has been full of trials and has tested Tom continuously, yet he has answered that call every single time.

Here’s to 100 Tommy, the club is very proud of the effort and sacrifices you have made.
