Something a bit different today helping The Tree Guys move branches to achieve a vision my wife and I had for enhancing our local Tai Tapu Heritage, making it more visible to passers by from the main highway. It won't happen overnight but in time the vision will come to life. 1st is a before of how dense it was

The afters and before of this Kaboodle kitchen install, part way through it was decided to remove the bay window and install 2 windows and a door. The wall between the original kitchen and laundry was removed to open it up and original laundry door removed. Toe spaces still to be fitted

Great afternoon checking out Otahuna Lodge Gardens Tour which was delayed by a few weeks after a tree was blown over. Awesome to check out more of Tai Tapu Heritage and support Cancer Society fundraising from Daffodil Day at the same time

Busy weeks of late, just finishing up a Kaboodle kitchen renovation, pictures up in the next week or so.
In the evenings, I have been continuing work in my 149 year old home, chasing the dream of having the inside completed by May next year for its 150th birthday, I decided to plastic and insulate the floor and with very little ground clearance, there is no option but to cut some of the floor out and get rid of the soft spots in the floor at the same time, finding that in 2005 the previous owner had attempted to replace 3 boards of the floor, thinking that was all the rot, and left a time capsule under the floor. Now what to add for the 2026 addition to the capsule? Suggestions?
