Sometimes keeping things simple is what makes a space work so well.

This kitchen is from the front unit of a four-townhouse development we completed.

With clean white cabinetry, warm timber-look flooring, simple black handles and stainless steel appliances, it's a practical, cost-effective design that still feels modern and inviting.

Rhe's been busy on site, making the most of the warmer weather and getting the job done.

It's great to see some blue skies again. Fingers crossed they will be here to stay!

We can finally spill the beans...

We have been working on something special behind the scenes and we're excited to finally share it with you!

Introducing Alterhouse.

Alterhouse helps Canterbury homeowners create more space, better flow and smarter ways to live, without walking away from the place they already love. With a focus on renovations, extensions, second dwellings and new builds, Alterhouse is here to help turn those "what if" ideas into reality.

So, what does this mean for DNG?

Nothing changes! DNG isn't going anywhere. DNG and Alterhouse will operate as two separate brands, working side by side. DNG will continue doing what we do best, delivering quality commercial and government projects, while Alterhouse focuses on helping Canterbury homeowners bring their property ideas to life.

Two brands. One shared commitment of quality workmanship.

Head over to www.alterhouse.nz to check out our new website, and make sure you give .nz a follow on Instagram and Facebook to see what we've got coming up.

Here's to an exciting new chapter!

Shopping for clothes isn’t something you’d usually see the team doing… 👀

But there’s a reason we’ve swapped the building site for the clothing racks at !

We’ve been busy working on something NEW behind the scenes. Any guesses for what it could be?

When clients are talking behind our backs, we’re pretty thankful it’s all good things!

There’s nothing better than hearing such lovely feedback from people we’ve worked so closely with over the past four months. Being trusted to build someone’s forever home is something we never take for granted.

A huge thank you to Merv and Marian for choosing DNG to bring their forever home to life. It’s been an absolute pleasure working alongside you both, and we hope you enjoy your beautiful new home for many years to come.

It's all in the lines.

The strong vertical lines of the Oblique Cladding, paired with the clean lines of the roof and contrasting finishes, gives this build a simple but striking look.

Using Oblique allowed us to create that strong linear detail while still being a cost effective cladding choice. It's a great example of how thoughtful material selections can elevate a simple design and give it a polished architectural feel.
