🔥 West Melton Transformation Underway 🔥

This is the stage before the transformation really starts 👌

At the moment it’s gravel, open space and a driveway area waiting to take shape — but once the concrete goes down, this whole entrance and outdoor area is going to change completely.

For the owners, this is where the vision starts coming to life. This job in West Melton is going to be black exposed aggregate with black sponge finish, giving the property a clean, dark, modern look that will tie in with the house and make the whole area feel finished.

These are the jobs we enjoy — taking a rough, unfinished space and turning it into something the owners can see, use and be proud of every day.

Perfect timing today — the sun came out right when we needed it, so we got back in and sealed all the exposed aggregate 🪨✨ bringing the stone and colour right up and giving the whole job that final finished look. 👌🔥

The crossover went in today too 🛣️ which means everything is 100% complete and ready for handover! ✅🙌

🔥🚧 220m² Sponge Finish — Big Pour, Late Night Ahead 🚧🔥

Late 10 o’clock start on this one today ⏰ but the boys pushed through and got all 220 squares placed 👊💪

We had Richard Grant from Complete Concrete Pumping on the line pump today 🚛💦 — this man is a bit of a legend in the Christchurch concrete scene. At his age, still throwing the hose around and showing everyone how it’s done 👏🔥 Massive respect, Richard 💪👑

Big shout out to Ashby’s for supplying the concrete 🚚🧱 and to Whites Concrete for coming in and giving us a hand with the placement 🤝💯

The concrete is down ✅ but the job isn’t finished yet. It’s going to be a late night under the lights 💡🌙 getting this whole area properly sponged and finished 👌🔥

Sunday shift to get this one over the line 💪🏽

We were supposed to have everything finished off on Saturday, but the weather had other plans.

So the boys were back into it on Sunday, putting in the mahi to get the job ready — finishing off the boxing for the pavers, compacting the fill, and adding the final touches before the pour.

The last job was setting the strip drain to help with the run of water, and now everything is finished, cleaned up and ready for concrete tomorrow morning 👌🏽

You’re only as good as your crew, and the boys showed that today. Good effort on a Sunday to make sure this one is ready to go.

Second job for the day and the boys still put in the effort on a Friday 💪

This one’s getting ready for Tuesday — basing up, cutting out the crossover, ripping out the old concrete, boxing out the pavers, getting it ready for asphalt and finishing off the pavers.

It’s going to be exposed aggregate with full shot black, so once it’s poured and washed off, it’s going to look sharp 👌🔥
