Happy friday. I have this fun quirk where I like to move furniture around places at literally no notice whatsoever. So when you come in, my store will look a wee bit different 😅 if you need any alterations done come see me. At the moment im also going through my own wardrobe to see what I can relove and the poor machines are getting a workout. Also working on some dresses with the patterns from so im busy! My weekend DIY.

I almost forgot to write this. I have a slight obsession for velvet. And this dressing gown happened to catch my eye on the rack at . It is actually mauve, and as soon as I saw it i knew this panther embellishment was destined to be its match. A slow stitch later and here she is, delicious and ready for a winter night in. I can't wait to wear her. I dan do things like this if you have the pieces ready to go. Just come by and see me through the pink doors at the 105 collective.

Sunday DIY: im not sure how you all are gonna take this but I actually don't like sharing my stuff with my kids. Mainly because stuff comes back different and im not about that life. So today while im home doing laundry and decluttering my bag, I took out my earphones and some yarn, and fixed these back up. YES I know they give these out free on the plane and YES I know I can go wireless but yesterday when I was having a public meltdown with these in the mall trying to plug myself into my phone for a call with Miss 11 I knew it was time to sort these out. I crocheted the wires together in a matching yarn and now these can be used efficiently in public again. I don't like purple but there are pretty neat now haha

I thought i was being clever this morning, getting up early to make a batch of muffins for my girl for school, fresh and warm. I found that awesome recipe by and followed it without hesitation. Being domestic is not my thing but I do try - it wasn't til I got the second set in the oven I realised I FORGOT TO ADD SUGAR. 😑 rest assured, my sewing skills are infinitely better. I am flat out this week but you are welcome to drop by and leave your alterations with me, I promise there will be no sugar-free mango muffins in sight.

Hi friends 😊

If you have been instore over the last few weeks you will have noticed that we are looking bare... this is because I've made the decision to combine and downsize The Creatives Edit. And Under Lexis Bed into one mini-store. I know, I know... it seems really crazy and I didn't take this one on a whim, I promise! We will still be inside the 105 Collective just in the entrance and through the soon-to-pink doors. We plan to open at 10am on Tuesday 2nd June, after the long weekend ☺️ still the same Me, still the same building, just a bit cosier and alot louder. Im fizzing for this change and thanks so much to our amazing Creatives and customers who make this venture so worth it 💖

Hey folks 😅 I've been away for a break in Raro and am back in store tomorrow (Wednesday 22/4) after a decent sleep. I had the most incredible time, and while all of it was a highlight, one of my favourite things was having a custom print fabric made by one of my aunties and I honestly loved watching the process. Im planning on making a few pieces with this and then a framed art piece for my wall. I will be taking alterations again tomorrow so if you need work done, just come by and say hi, im at 105 Brighton Mall. 😊 Kia Manuia 🪡🧵

I love mending. Its ridiculous how much I love mending. I went to .anthology.nz first clothing swap on Friday night (check out their socials for the next one!) And I came back with a few goodies but I picked up this Macpac jacket in my size 😁 it had a couple of patches and I knew I could sort these out with these Koi patches i bought on a whim. An hour and some choice words later, its a new look! This will now be perfect for traveling.
