Marriott Residence

Design-led landscape, executed with precision.

Designed by Ross Marriott for his own home, this garden is a study in proportion, discipline and long-term thinking. With much of the planting established over five years, the framework needed to feel permanent, aligned and uncompromising.

Utilising granite, kwila and structural pine; our role was to construct the architectural bones — ensuring every edge, junction and level reinforced the original vision.

The result is fantastic and is sure to age like a fine wine in Ross’ expert hands.

A hard one to fully capture, but that’s the way it should be 🌱

Refined Rural- West Melton

A landscape shaped by structure, proportion and intent.

Strong architectural lines define a series of outdoor rooms — framed by steel, anchored in concrete and softened through layered planting. The custom pergola establishes scale and enclosure, while off-form rendered walls create backdrop, privacy and permanence.

Material contrast drives the composition. Dark steel against lime chip. Corten planters introducing warmth. Natural stone paving bringing texture and grounding to the space.

Every line considered. Every material deliberate.

Sumner Retreat

Comprehensive in-house design and build, completed mid-2025.

The brief was simple: elevate the landscaping to match the beautifully considered ‘tiny home’. The result is a contemporary courtyard garden that balances industrial materials with Japandi restraint and Mediterranean influences. Raw, honest materials—steel, stone, and hardwood—define clean lines and purposeful zones, while a restrained planting palette prioritises form, texture, and structure. The outcome is a cohesive and refined outdoor space.
