At Camex, our work spans four key areas, each backed by a specialist, experienced team committed to delivering quality projects.

🟦 3-Waters
Our 3-Waters team delivers drinking water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure for councils, commercial clients and contractors. From underground pipe networks and drainage systems to pump stations and water and wastewater treatment plants, we help build and upgrade the essential systems our communities need.

🟨 Transport
Our Transport team delivers roading and related infrastructure projects, from road safety improvements, roundabouts and slip repairs to cycleway and footpath construction. We also undertake routine and reactive maintenance across roading networks and other council infrastructure, helping keep these essential assets working for the communities that depend on them.

🟩 Land Development
Our Land Development team delivers residential and commercial earthworks, excavation and site preparation, transforming raw land into construction-ready sites. Using specialist plant, GPS machinery and in-house surveying expertise, we tackle everything from subdivision development to complex sites with challenging terrain.

⬜ Civil & Private Siteworks
Our Civil & Private Siteworks team delivers the civil construction that gets residential, commercial and industrial projects off the ground. This includes excavation, building pads, utility installation, stormwater and wastewater systems, pavements, driveways, rural drainage and property entranceways, creating functional, durable sites ready for what comes next.

We're excited to be part of the future of water infrastructure across Hamilton and the Waikato, having been appointed as one of four contractors on the IAWAI - Flowing Waters Construction Renewals Panel.

This reflects the outstanding work our team has delivered on 3-waters projects across the Waikato in recent years, and marks an exciting milestone for our company.

As part of this panel, Camex will help deliver the long-term renewal, upgrade and extension of water, wastewater, and stormwater networks across Hamilton City and the Waikato District.

We're looking forward to working alongside IAWAI and our delivery partners to help build resilient water infrastructure that will support our communities for generations to come.

Camex Civil has been awarded the 26/27 Western Bay of Plenty District Council Planned Pavement Maintenance Contract.

Following the successful delivery of our first maintenance contract for the Western Bay, this next contract is a great reflection of the hard work, consistency, and commitment of our team in the Bay of Plenty.

Last night, our team attended Waikato Tainui Puna Pakihi, connecting with pakihi from across the rohe and sharing more about opportunities to work together on current and future projects.

It was a valuable opportunity to meet pakihi from a range of industries, hear about what they do and learn more about the mahi happening across our region.

A huge thank you to Waikato Tainui for bringing everyone together and creating a space to connect, kōrero and collaborate.

Our Taupō team are making great progress on the new roundabout at the intersection of Lake Terrace and Maunganamu Drive.

We’re delivering this project on behalf of developers Wharewaka East Ltd, improving connections between Nga Roto Estate and this important Taupō corridor.

Our scope of work includes earthworks, roundabout construction, drainage improvements, new kerb and channel, and new footpaths.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of November.

Work is well underway on the Hautapu Stormwater Basin & Allwill Drive Swales project, right here in our own backyard, with:
▪️ 2,015 staff hours on site
▪️ 950 machine hours
▪️ 45,000m³ of earth moved
▪️ 270m of drainage lines laid to date.

The project includes a 2.3-hectare, 4.5-metre deep stormwater basin, along with 380 metres of swales to help guide and filter stormwater into the basin.

There’s a lot of mahi going into shaping this important piece of infrastructure, which will help reduce flooding and support future growth in the Hautapu area.
