Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultral Center home to the National Library and National Opera and the most resilient garden with incredible views over Athens. 38° on the day of our visit and although not thriving definitely surving. Varieties included Westringia, Gaura, Olea, Schinos, Salvias, Salvia officinalis, Lavender, grasses, Euphorbia. Swathes of planting repeated throughout the landscape and a fabulous canal with water feature which ran to opera music. An impressive, resilient landscape.
