Is your rug ready for spring?

Winter damp can take a toll on your rugs, especially wool, oriental and heirloom rugs. Cold floors, condensation and moisture can become trapped underneath, creating the perfect environment for musty odours, mould and even silverfish.

Keep an eye out for:
• Musty smells
• Dark spots or discolouration
• Damp or stiff patches
• Small holes or damage to fibres
• Silverfish around or underneath your rug

If you’ve noticed any of these signs, don’t wait for the problem to get worse.

Our latest blog covers how to protect your rugs through the damp months, what warning signs to look for, and what to do if you spot silverfish or moisture damage.

NZ's dampest months put oriental and wool rugs at risk of mould and silverfish. Learn how to protect heirloom rugs this winter, and when to call in the experts.
