🏡 Villa Spotlight – 225m² – Floorplan 2

This week's Villa Spotlight features Floorplan 2, another beautiful 225m² villa offering generous proportions, traditional character and plenty of space for family living.

🏡 Friday Inspiration – Three Homes, One Street!

This week's Friday Inspiration takes us back into the DWC archives, and this time we're visiting Vorbach Place in Renwick!

Over the years, we've built three lovely homes on neighbouring sites in this street, each with its own character and charm.

We've taken the original photographs of these homes and given them a fresh new look with some digital landscaping and outdoor styling. It's amazing what a difference a lovely garden, some established planting and a few finishing touches can make!

It's always nice looking back at homes we built many years ago and seeing how their timeless character still looks just as lovely today.

We've included the original photos alongside the digitally styled versions so you can enjoy the transformations.

Another One on the Move! 🏡🚛

This time we're heading back to Culverden!

Our latest client build made its way down the South Island last night, with Dave receiving a message just before midnight to say the house had arrived safely on site and was already sitting on its piles.

As always, a huge thank you to Mudgy and the team at Smith Crane & Construction Ltd It's always a pleasure working with you all!

Thanks also to Dave Gee and Tim, who were down in Culverden ready to help get the house onto its piles, and of course to our fantastic team back at the yard.

It takes a lot of people working together to bring these beautiful homes to life and get them safely to their new sites, and we're very lucky to have such a great team involved.

Another exciting move completed!

We also had a friend who happened to be out and about yesterday and snapped a photo of the house heading through St Arnaud! It's always great to see who has spotted one of our homes travelling along the road. 😊

Another Beautiful Home Completed! 🏡

Freshly finished and almost ready to head off to its new home in Culverden!

This lovely client build is an upsized Classic Series cottage, and at 132 square metres, there's certainly no shortage of space. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a wonderfully spacious kitchen and living area, it's a home with plenty of room to enjoy.

And what a delightful colour scheme! We particularly love the darker interior doors, painted in Resene Irish Coffee — even the name sounds decadent! The pretty pink bedroom is just perfect for a wee girl's room, and all the lovely finishing touches make this home a real delight.

Unfortunately, by the time I got around to taking photos, the exterior had already been prepared for transport, so I only managed to capture a couple of shots of the gable. But there's plenty to admire inside!

Another beautiful build by our team, and we can't wait to see it settled into its new surroundings.

🏡 Friday Inspiration – Four Homes. Four Transformations! Part Two

We're back with another four homes from the DWC archives for this week's Friday Inspiration!

Following on from last Friday's post, we've found another four of our older home photographs and given each home a fresh new look with some digital landscaping and outdoor styling.

🎨 Our Smoko Hut Colour Competition – We Have TWO Winners! 🎉

Well, nobody managed to guess the correct colour of our smoko hut weatherboards!

The colour was Resene Brandy Rose! 🌸

As we didn't have a correct guess, we decided to look at the closest guesses instead. We had two guesses in the orange colour range, so we've decided to award TWO prizes! 🎉
