Wattyl Tip: Solagard handles heat like a champ, but painting in direct sunlight above 35°C causes a paint film to dry too fast. This shortens the open time, making it difficult to work with, resulting in a less than perfect finish. To improve application and extend the workability in higher temperatures, lightly mist timber surfaces with water prior to painting.
