🌱 Sustainability meets hot water innovation!

Huge shoutout to Kate Hall () for chatting to Jack Tame this weekend about her Suburban Homestead Project — and giving a big thumbs up to her new Reclaim CO₂ Hot Water Heat Pump, installed by our team here at MGP 🔧

Kate swapped out her old 30-year-old hot water cylinder and is already seeing ~64% less electricity used on hot water — that's real savings, every single month 💸

Why Reclaim CO₂?

✅ Uses natural CO₂ refrigerant — one of the lowest-impact options available

✅ Massively cuts hot water running costs

✅ Frees up indoor space (cylinder moves outside)

✅ Whisper quiet operation

✅ Perfect for Kiwi homes wanting to reduce their footprint without a lifestyle-block move

Out with the old gas system, in with the ultimate efficiency! ⚡️💧
We just wrapped up this upgrade, swapping out an old Rheem Stellar gas storage unit for a Carrier Blue 300L hot water heat pump.
The best part? By switching to this high-efficiency system, we were able to completely disconnect the home from the gas mains network. That means zero gas connection charges and massive savings on their energy bills moving forward. 📉💰
Clean energy, lower bills, and endless hot water. That’s how you future-proof a home!
