❄️ Is It Cheaper to Leave Your Heat Pump On?

Electricians get asked this question all the time.

The answer? It depends on how you use it.

If you're leaving the house for the day, it's usually more cost-effective to turn your heat pump off and switch it back on when you return.

But during cold winter mornings and evenings, keeping your heat pump at a steady temperature often uses less energy than switching it off and having it work hard to heat the room from scratch every time.

A few tips to help keep your power bill under control:
✔️ Set your heat pump to a comfortable temperature (around 18–21°C is ideal)
✔️ Clean your filters regularly
✔️ Keep doors and windows closed while it's running
✔️ Use the timer function to match your routine

Getting the most out of your heat pump is about both efficiency and comfort.

Jayden recently completed the final electrical work on this striking feature wall, installing a PDL switch to complement the impressive Rêve Noir tile from Global Tile Ltd.

Valiant Electrical carefully precision-cut the additional openings required for the TV and soundbar before securely mounting the TV to the newly tiled wall.

A few simple changes around your home or workplace can help reduce energy use and keep costs under control:
