Understanding Sill Fix vs Face Fix
Sill Fix (also commonly called Reveal Fit)
The security product is installed inside the window or door reveal, sitting parallel with the window or door frame.

✔ Commonly used where sufficient reveal depth is available
Face Fix (also called Face Fit)
The security product is mounted onto the face of the wall, frame, or surrounding surface, sitting in front of the opening.
✔ Useful when reveal depth is limited
✔ Often required due to window or door frame design
✔ Can accommodate a wider range of installation situations
In most cases, sill fix installations provide greater strength and security. However, some properties require face fix installations due to the design of the surrounding frame or structure.
