It was a privilege to host Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Minister of Finance Nicola Willis at our Auckland premises on Monday.

We had the opportunity to take them on a tour of our manufacturing facility, introduce them to our team, and provide a firsthand look at what goes on behind the scenes. We even gave the Prime Minister a go at applying sealant. Judging by the result, it may not be his next career move!

We greatly appreciate the time they took out of their busy schedules to visit us, engage with our staff, and hear directly about what we do and how we do it.

The visit was an opportunity to showcase the important role local manufacturing and industry play in New Zealand's economy, and highlight how through collaboration, innovation, and high-quality façade solutions, we are helping to sustainably shape New Zealand's built environment for future generations.

Thank you to Prime Minister Luxon and Minister of Finance Willis for taking the time to visit and show support for New Zealand businesses.

A proud moment for the Thermosash Group as Auckland’s City Rail Link officially opened to the public over the weekend.

The Thermosash Group has been part of this incredible project for seven years, with teams from across the Group contributing to the delivery of significant façade and glazing packages across Te Waihorotiu, Karanga-a-Hape and Maungawhau stations.

The completed stations are a fantastic showcase of the skill, experience and attention to detail that went into their delivery. We are extremely proud of the quality of work delivered across the Group.

Congratulations to everyone across the Thermosash Group who contributed to this project. Your expertise, commitment and hard work will be evident throughout the new stations and will stand as a lasting contribution to Aukland for generations to come.

Congratulations to the wider City Rail Link project team on this significant achievement. Delivering a project of this scale requires a remarkable collective effort.

Te Matapihi Wellington Central Library has won the Supreme Over $10m Award at the 2026 New Zealand Commercial Project Awards.

The library was saved from the possibility of being demolished by undertaking earthquake strengthening and a major upgrade. Thermosash worked with L.T. McGuinness and Athfield Architects in collaboration with Tihei Ltd, to complete this iconic NZ project - installing our PW1000 thermal break curtainwall with aluminium feature elements on the North-East and South-West elevations, along with rainscreen cladding, channel glazing, rooflights, louvres, and commercial windows and doors.

Saving the building preserved a significant landmark and provided a sustainable outcome with a 5-Star Green Star NZGBC rating.

Congratulations to L.T. McGuinness who have achieved their second Over $10m Award win in two consecutive years.

Thermosash is known for successfully delivering large-scale vertical commercial facade projects that feature high-performance glazed curtain walling, rainscreen and complex design features - however, Thermosash's capabilities naturally extend to smaller health‑sector buildings because these facilities require the same innovative high-performance standards.

The Mauri Ora Acute Mental Health Unit in Rotorua is an inpatient facility assisting people with addictions and related mental health needs. The building has been designed to ensure the safe care of patients as well as work safety for staff. Thermosash's facade delivery included our PW1000-TB thermally broken curtainwall to the main entrance and courtyards, our DeltaGurad windows to the bedrooms and courtyards, installation of an auto slider and our Delta Commercial doors.

Thermosash's DeltaGuard window suite has been specifically developed for low to medium security requirements with preventative safety measures such as anti-ligature, high impact resistance, weaponry deterrent and the ability to quickly replace window glass if required. The Hawke’s Bay Museum Research and Archive Centre was formerly handed over by GEMCO and RTA to the Museum operations team in September 2025. The centre is designed to meet global museum standards to preserve and protect the region’s extensive collection of ancestral taonga, artefacts, and historical records. Thermosash is proud to be a part of this significant regional project - our facade solution prioritises airtightness and sustainability with our low carbon thermally broken PW1000-TB200 aluminium and glazed curtainwall suite.
