The Power of Shotcreting in Construction! 🦾

This is quite a bit different from your typical garden hose! By feeding pre-mixed concrete through a compressor, the intense air pressure causes quite the stir! Its effectiveness, however, cannot be understated.

Often used in making walls, swimming pools, and tunnel linings, this method is not as easy to wield as it seems. The projectile power can spur considerable recoil so a skilled operator is required.

Lots of work is going on here at our North Shore site: we've got many piles finished off, reinforcing cages ready, and walls prepared to take truckloads of shotcrete.

So many workers have come on site today to make sure the work gets done smoothly and efficiently. With another concrete mixer and pump here, we'll be depositing concrete with a bit more force this time...
