A little hiccup in my client's Land Rover restoration project…
The soft top arrived all the way from Spain — just a little longer than the car itself.

Making that first cut was nerve-racking. And I wasn't even the one holding the scissors! 😂

The roof also has a third support bar in the middle, which wasn't fitted when these photos were taken.

Some pieces look simple at first glance… until you realize it has a metall frame 🫣

This sofa bed needed a few things done: the metal seat base was repaired, the foam on the sofa-bed section was replaced, and the whole piece was recovered in fresh fabric.

Because of the metal frame, the cover had to be made as one carefully fitted piece, which made the process a little more interesting than usual — the kind of project where cutting and sewing matter.

The clients were so happy to have it back home. They especially love the clever sofa-bed function: one person can sit comfortably, while the other stretches out on the bed section — perfect for movie nights.

One of the most common things I hear from clients is:
“I can’t find another sofa/armchair/chair as comfortable as this one.”

And I get it.

This Italian sofa was bought 21 years ago, and it is still in amazing condition. Beautifully made, comfortable, and absolutely worth keeping.

We made new removable covers in Italian outdoor fabric, giving it a fresh, practical second life.

And the embroidered floral cushions? They added a little colour, a little charm, and just enough warmth to make the whole sofa feel special again.

For many years this Italian-made armchair sat in its owner’s office, through long days, big decisions, and the everyday rhythm of running a business.

The old PU leather had completely given up, but the chair itself was far too well made to let it go.

Now the business has been sold, retirement has begun, and this much-loved chair has been restored for its next chapter at home.

A well-earned retirement for both the owner and the chair.

This much-loved, comfortable armchair holds a very special place in one family member’s heart, so it deserved a fresh new life in a beautifully cosy fabric.

I also made a fresh new cover for the large sofa, its faithful companion.

Now their countryside home is ready for slow mornings, peaceful evenings, and those blissful moments when doing absolutely nothing feels exactly right.

I was surprised by how many people started covering their ottomans in this fabric as soon as it was released. Now I can see why.

It has such a lovely texture, the colour feels warm and cosy, and from an upholsterer’s point of view, it’s also a pleasure to work with, it shapes beautifully around all those curves.

My client said the colour and texture made the ottoman feel especially cosy, and I completely agree.
