Old site, new story. Four new homes in the making.

Our Wai O Taki Bay project replaces an ageing home with four thoughtfully designed residences, making the most of its locations above the Tamaki River. Elevated living spaces help capture the views, while dark weatherboards and the aged red brick bring contrast and character to the exterior.

A great example of making the most of an established Auckland neighbourhood, in collaboration with Emphasis Homes.

A new home in Beachlands, designed around the view & we are excited to see this start to take shape!

Tucked privately down a shared driveway, this elevated site gave us the opportunity to orient the living spaces north and make the most of the surrounding outlook. Gabled roof forms, warm plywood ceilings and a raised master suite bring character to the single-level home, while a mix of cedar, vertical fibre cement, concrete block and schist creates a textured exterior. A coastal setting, a considered layout and plenty of architectural personality.

Rural Living, For Family and the Views

We’re excited to share another recent lifestyle home of ours, set amongst the rural landscape of South Auckland.

Designed on a sloping site, the project includes a main and minor dwelling, both carefully positioned to make the most of the beautiful surrounding views while creating privacy for each home.

The main home centres around a light-filled living pavilion, with the minor dwelling sitting further down the slope and following the natural contours of the site.
A mix of textured brick, dark weatherboard, large glazing and volume ceilings brings warmth and character to the design.

This week we’re showcasing a recent lifestyle project of ours, set on a spacious, sloping rural site.

The brief was to create a main, partially two-storey dwelling alongside a complementary minor dwelling, designed to provide privacy between the two homes while maximising the surrounding rural views.

Both homes feature a pavilion-style design with strong gabled forms emphasised with cedar, glazing and plastered AAC, creating a cohesive look throughout.
The main dwelling features generous open-plan living that flows out to the covered alfresco and swimming pool through postless corner sliders. Upstairs, the master suite takes advantage of the views, alongside the secondary bedrooms and media room.

A considered design that makes the most of the site, the views, and the way the homeowners want to live.
