Looking back at Swim Zone Te Aroha
We recently looked back at some of our past projects and came across our work at Swim Zone Te Aroha for Matamata-Piako District Council.
Our history at this site goes all the way back to 1999, when we completed our first installation, installing an HW1600 and HW353.
We returned to the site again several years later for a further installation, before returning once more in 2022 to replace the existing units with a 7GP140-3VM and 7GP140S55-3VM.
These units provide heating for the spa, kids play pool and main pool.
The units were trucked down to site, where the old units were disconnected. We then had a crane life the old units out and position the new units in place. Over the next couple of days, our team plumbed up the new units, while all electrical connections were carried out by the site electricians. Once everything was completed, the units were commissioned.
Itโs always interesting to look back at projects like this and see how both the equipment and technology have evolved over the years.
