Clivia Day Archaeology Day; Moving Dr Keith Hammett's Elite breeding stock to the photo studio. Some pots weigh 20kgs. 47 years of plant breeding on that trailer! Clonal offsets will be available in very limited numbers in October. We also went through thousands of pots today to select Pastel and Peach, Green Throat and Cream Yellow Clivia for you. Some dahlia cultivars are the opposite of divas. Homerun is one such example. It was bred in Dr Hammett's swampy clay. It thrives on near zero attention and fertilizer; look at those bee friendly flowers and dark foliage! A great tuber producer as well. NO CHICKEN LEGS HERE.
