Most people don't realise that roof screws and their rubber washers have a lifespan. Once they start cracking, shrinking, or rusting, water can begin sneaking through.

We spent the day here replacing old roof screws to help extend the life of this roof and reduce the risk of future leaks. A simple maintenance job that can save a lot of headaches down the track.

🕵️‍♂️ Rare footage of a leak detector in its natural habitat, patiently stalking its prey. This hidden watermain leak thought a concrete carpark was the perfect hiding spot. It was wrong!

After pinpointing the leak location using our accoustic & gas tracing equipment, we cut the concrete, exposed the pipe and carried out the repair.

Leak located. Leak repaired. Water back on.
BOOM - job done! 👊

For this job, we connected tracer gas to the water line and tracked the escaping gas around the back of the property using our leak detection equipment. Once we pinpointed the area, it only took a small dig to expose the problem.

Found the leak, replaced the faulty fittings, then turned the water meter back on to confirm it had stopped spinning and the leak was gone ✔️

This wasn’t just a leak. The ground outside the wall was becoming saturated during heavy rain and pushing water into the room below 🌧️
