The bricklayers have now finished, with the plasterers ready to start next week. All weatherboarding is also complete, and the painters are progressing with filling, sanding and undercoating as the weather allows.

Pre-line and gib board delivery are scheduled for next Friday, with the gib fixers ready to get straight into it.

Starting to look like a house now 🏠 Ready for roof and windows to arrive next week and we will be onto the cladding soon

All happening at harbour view drive job the last few weeks. Ground floor frames up, structural steel installed, joists and ply floor done, second level frames stood and trusses are starting to go up. Ready for a roof in a couple of weeks if the weather stays like this.

Another big couple of days from the boys and the slab is all ready for concrete. 🤞 for some fine weather on Friday

Harbour view drive is coming along nicely. Footings and blocks are done and the boys have completed the slab fill today ready to start prepping the floor ready for concrete next week. Will be good to have this stage completed and into the framing work soon.

It takes months, sometimes years, of planning, design, hard work, and dedication to build a home—yet it can be reduced to rubble in a matter of hours.

This house was demolished a few weeks ago while we patiently waited for the building consent to be issued. We finally got the green light this week, and the team wasted no time getting stuck in.

The cut and fill is now complete, and we’ll be moving on to profiling and footings next week. The weather has certainly been on our side so far, fingers crossed it stays that way for another week! 🤞
